One thing I have been super guilty of during quarantine is making unnecessary purchases off of Amazon.com. What I mean by unnecessary is impulse purchases. I’ve realized I had no other hobbies besides ordering food and shopping before Quarantine. However, I have found a couple of great products through this entire process. I wanted to share them with you guys, maybe this may help you find some great products as well. Now, not all of these products I purchased from Amazon originally, which I totally regret because they are cheaper on here versus Ulta or Sephora, which I am kind of sad about but none the less, I will be buying them from Amazon from now on. Veet Leg & Body Hair Removal Kit- Sensitive Formula – 2 pack ( $19 )
This wax kit is like no other I have tried before. First off, I hate using Nair because it irritated my skin, shaving doesn’t last longer than a week or two, and quarantine means I cannot go get a wax. These wax strips come with 20 strips that are double-sided ( WIN-WIN) and they last forever. I bought these back in December or January 9 ( 1 pack) and I still have not run out of them. One tip I learned is that to cut the wax strips and they last you much longer. I wax my legs, arms, underarms, and my face once a month, my legs, arms, underarms, and my face. Because they work so well, I do not really need to go over an area more than once and get the tiniest of hair out. These do not irritate my skin at all or give me any sort of reaction. It is a bit pricy on amazon but you are getting two packs that have a total of 80 strips and will literally last you a lifetime.
Spiral Hair coils ($5.99)
I have really curly and knotty hair which tends to get pulled out when I tie it up in a tight ponytail or bun. I use to swear by the generic black hair ties but I typically lost them and actually only used one for like 6 months hoping it would not get lost. Also, it hurt my hair and I realized they were actually not so good after all. And then I discovered phone cord hair ties and it was a game-changer. My hair no longer fell out when I undid my bun, nor did my bun hurt while it was on my head and stayed intact. I actually got this for like $6 off of amazon and it came with like 24 of these- they will last you a while. They are hard to break and don’t lose elasticity. They are huge, meaning they are hard to misplace.
Hempz Sweet Pineapple and Honey Melon Moisturizer ( $10)
With the increased amount of Hand sanitizer use and handwashing, my skin has become extremely dry especially my hands ( obviously). I actually picked this up from Ulta but it is much cheaper on Amazon!! It smells so yummy- like a pina colada without being overbearing. I have used other body moisturizers that end up smelling weird after a while but this one smells amazing even after a while. I use it every time I shower and a little goes a long way. I am not even done with a quarter of it yet and I have been using it for at least a month after every shower. It leaves the skin feeling so soft and hydrated- not greasy or shiny at all. They have other scents available but I just love this one. will definitely be repurchasing but from amazon this time.
Of course, with my spending habits, these purchases but some of the best ones I have made. I will update with any other products that I come across that I feel are worth sharing. But for now, I will be enjoying these products and finding more to test out and share with you all!
