If you know me, you probably are aware that I am a little bit obsessed with Liquid lipsticks. funny thing is, I have like 20+ shades yet I end up wearing only 2% of my collection. Along the years, I have tried millions of different formulas and price points. I am not kidding- Ive tried it all; drugstore and high end. With any product, one thing that is super important for me is the formula and the wear of the product. I feel that it is really hard to find a liquid lipstick formula that is just right. Some are too drying, too watery, not pigmented, and some just don’t wear as nicely as they should. Luckily, I have been able to narrow down the top 3 formula’s that I love and that work for me.
HudaBeauty Liquid Matte Lipstick

One of my favorite products from HudaBeauty is her liquid matte lipstick. Her liquid lipsticks feel like no other. One thing I want to highlight about this product is the application. It features a doe foot applicator like most liquid lipsticks but the formula is amazing. When you apply it to your lips, it feels like water- and yea I know your thinking ” well ya its a liquid lipstick” but it is different than others. I have applied liquid lipsticks where I literally had to drag the applicator on my lips because the formula was so dry. This liquid lipstick glides on my lips so smoothly and dries down quickly without sucking the life out of your lips. It is so comfortable to wear and does exaggerate the lines on your lips!

Okay so I am going to be very honest, I was one of those people who did not see the hype when Kylie Jenner launched her liquid lipsticks. HOWEVER, when I tried them, I saw what the hype was all about. I think the reason I did not give in was the fact that it was a bit pricey compare to all the other liquid lipsticks. I would say that from the two other formulas I have talked about in this post, this formula is by far the most long lasting. It is a little bit on the dry side but I recommend prepping your lips with a moisturizing lip balm before going into this product. I have literally eaten Halwa poori, biryani, Nihari, -BASICALLY OIL with this liquid lipstick ( NO joke), and it has not smeared off completely. It stayed put and of course there was a bit of wear but still it was little to nothing. I never really wore lip liners but I think with this lipstick formula, the lip liner is crucial to the wear of this lipstick. It is a bit expensive compared to the other liquid lipsticks, but, it does come with a matching liner so keep that in mind.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

The ABH lipsticks are actually like a staple for any beauty lover mainly because it is by ABH. I was actually really late to this bandwagon believe it or not. The shade range from this line is actually insane! They have so many shades from pinks, reds, nudes, to like untradtional colors like blue, dark purple, and even grays. I have tried different shades from their range and it is safe to say that the formula is consistent among the different shades. A lot of times what happens is that colors like red, dark purple are hard formulate and so they tend to be patchy and streaky- this product does not so that. One downside to this product is the applicator, it is super flimsy and unpractically. I tend to use a lip brush for it and it works much better.
If you are a total lipstick junkie like me, I seriously recommend checking these liquid lipsticks out! I will list some of my favorite shades from these brands below in case any one wants a shade recommendation!
