One question I get asked a lot is where I get my Pakistani clothes from. Typically I don’t have a mainstream answer like Khaadi, ethnic outfitters, or any well known Pakistan brand. I guess that is a downfall of living in America as a Pakistani. Each brand has their own sizing, different material, and not to mention the hefty shipping cost that comes along with it. Even if I was to buy a $30 kurta let’s say, I would still have to pay for shipping which could cost just as much if not more than the actual kurta. However, I live in an area where there is a dense population of Pakistanis and designers who are sell clothes. I have complied a list of some if my favorite designers that I have personally bought from and my experience with them.
@Biya Styles ( @Biya_styles)

The first designer is actually one of my personal favorite. I have bought and designed clothes from her countless times and they have always turned out better than I have ever expected. Her instagram is @Biya_styles. She has an exquisite collection and if you want to get clothes custom made, she is super cooperative and is on top of her orders. I actually got these gorgeous gharara pant suit from her a couple of months ago and also my engagement outfit made years back not knowing I would wear it on my engagement. I think what sets Biya out from other designers I have worked with is that she is super understanding of your vision and her pricing is set pretty well. She is not too high or too low and I feel that her pricing is justified after seeing how beautiful her work is. I definitely recommend checking her page out for all your needs- she even does bridal outfits!
SalniaFashions (@salniaFashions)

Next up we have Salnia fashion. The thing about Salnia Fashion is that she had amazing customer service! I had ordered an outfit a day before the event I wanted to wear it to ( because I found out last minute I did not have an outfit) and she went above and beyond to get it to me on time. Her collection has very cute pieces and even has designer pieces as well. Her collection ranges from casual to party/formal wear. If you are looking to get a couple of items for the next dawat season ( whenever that may be) , definitely recommend going to her. She is super sweet and a charm to work with!
AylaNoor New York (@AylaNoorNewYork)

One issue I have always had with ready made clothes is sizing. My sizing is a bit weird so I have always had an issue with ready made clothes being either too big or too small. However, Ayla Noor New York’s sizing fits me so well! It’s the perfect size for me. Now, this brand is a bit different, they are actually a mainstream Pakistani clothing brand located close to home- New York. One thing I found really cool about them is that when you place an order, it actually gets made in Pakistan, then ships to you all within two week! Typically when you get clothes made in Pakistan it does take a bit longer. I actually spoke with their customer service on numerous occasions and they have been nothing but helpful. If you are someone who struggles with finding reading made Pakistani clothes, Definitely check them out. Here is a link to their website:
So these where some of my favorite Pakistani boutiques/brands that I have bought from and have loved! I do definitely recommend all of them to you. They are pretty affordable compared to others I have come across and they have some amazing stuff. Let me know if you guys check them out, would love to see what you guys picked up from them!
