Hello everyone…. wow it has been so long since I wrote that. I know I kind of didn’t write anything for like…8 months but, I CAN EXPLAIN. The last couple months of my life have been hectic. SO much has happened since I last wrote on my blog. For starters, I finally graduated with my bachelor’s degree! Which, for me, is a huge milestone. At one point, I did not think I would make it but I did.
In even bigger news, I got married! Yup, me, 22 and married. It’s funny, my friends and I made a bet freshman year of high school that I will probably be the first out of my friend group to get married. Annddddd that’s kinda exactly what happened. But none the less, Allah is the best of planners. After getting married, I also moved away ( sadly) to the DMV area! For someone who has lived in NJ her entire life, this was a huge step for me. Being away from your friends and family is never easy, but it is even harder once you get married and move to an entirely new area.
Did I mention I also got my first big girl job?!!!!! Yup, I started my first post graduate job a week after my wedding. This is definitely the less exciting part of the last couple of months. I realized that I am and adult now- like an actual adult. Kind of relieving to know that I am done with school stress but also now I have adult stress. I ended up switching jobs after two months but thats okay because I found something that I like a whole lot more! I am currently working as a product compliance analyst for ABBVIE!! It’s a US based pharma giant that I actually ended up at! Very different than tech and it was definitely not something I was expecting.
Did I mention all of these huge life events happened back to back in the span of 1-2 months? If you are wondering, yes I was super overwhelemed and to be quite honest, I still have not fully digested it yet. It took me quite a while to get use to just being married. It is such a huge change from being “single”. Everything changes. I had been meaning to write this post for quite a while now but I honestly did not know where to begin or how to express the last couple of months. I am, however, excited to start of this new year with alot more creativity and content for you all! If you guys want to see anything specific, please definitely comment below and I can definitely look into. But for now, I am logging off, see you guys soon.
