Pt. 2 How to Become a Blogger: Helpful Apps and Tools

Hello guys! Welcome to Part 2 on how to become a blogger. Seems like you guys really liked the first part so I think it was time to write a second part to this series. Today I am going to discuss some important apps and tools that have been super helpful in the whole blogging process- for me especially. The best part about these apps are that they are all free! Super simple tools that can help enhance your IG and Blogger game.

Lightroom

Lightroom is a photo editing app I use to edit some of my pictures. Sometimes you take a picture and it does just doesn’t look right- maybe the lighting is off or it is not as sharp as it should be. This is where this app comes in. It helps to kind of enhance the filters. Also, you can create your own presets using this app! I just created some presets I liked and when I need to edit a picture, I just go in and use the presets! It makes it much easier to edit pictures. Alot of bloggers create their own presets and that is what they use. The best part is that it is free!

Later

So later is actually an app where you can plan your instagram post and schedule them! I for one hate writing captions and hashtags when it comes time to post. Later allows me to write everything out and schedule the post for a later date. This helps tremendously when I am trying to see what to post on certain days. I typically schedule a post on here and schedule an instagram post accordingly.

WordPress

So for my blog, I chose to WordPress as my platform. You do not have to do the same, whatever you are comfortable with. However, it is a really great tool to have on hand. I can upload posts on the go and check the stats of my posts and website straight from my phone. I definitely recommend downloading the corresponding app of the platform you will be using.

Google Photos ( or any Cloud Storage Platform)

Okay so this one is nothing special. As a blogger, I take a lot of pictures… like a lot. My phone’s memory is always full. With that being said, I high recommend backing your pictures up and storing them in a cloud based platform. I personally use google photos but honestly anything works.
